The Nupe entertainment industry is putting finishing touches to launch brand new album title, ” *Boye-yio “ị́fe Ni” on Sunday.
The event will also be recognizing and celebrating outstanding leaders and contributors in the society.
Top among the awardees are the Iya Oloja General of Nigeria and Daughter of the President of Nigeria, Chief Dr. Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo for limestone contribution to humanity and a popular Actor, Ibrahim Chatta
Recall that Chief Mrs. Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, has been actively involved in promoting women’s empowerment and market development.
She has also been recognized for her contributions, including her role in launching the “Barriers in Participatory Leadership for Women” initiative.
The Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, recently conferred a traditional title on Chief (Dr) Mujidat Folashade Tinubu Ojo, the Iya Loja General of Nigeria, as Yar-Jari Nupe . This title means “the financier and epitome of entrepreneurship” in Nupe.
On his part, Chatta Ibrahim is a renowned Nigerian actor who has made significant contributions to the Nupe community. As a proud member of the Nupe ethnic group, Chatta has showcased his heritage through his work in the entertainment industry.
Chatta has promoted Nupe culture through his music and films. He has released several songs and soundtracks in the Nupe language, helping to preserve and promote the culture .
